Info
In early 1937, engineer Bronisław Żurakowski developed a medical evacuation version, designated RWD-13S, at the design office of the Experimental Aviation Workshops. These aircraft were used in civil aviation (aeroclubs, flying schools) as well as in the military. In September 1939, the RWD-13S took part in transporting medical supplies to encircled Polish units. The longest-serving Polish-designed aircraft in the Second World War was in fact the RWD-13S – the subject of this publication.
The book includes period photographs, 1/48 scale plans, and colour profiles.
