Polish Wings No. 33 Ilyushin Il-2

 The service of the famous Soviet Il-2 ground-attack aircraft, and its various versions, in the Polish Air Force.

This book provides a precise and detailed account of the Il-2’s use in Poland – during the Second World War, throughout the post-war years, and up to the present day (museum example).

The publication features many photographs never before published, most of them from private collections. It also includes colour camouflage schemes applied to the Il-2, along with profiles of specific aircraft, showing how their paintwork and markings actually looked in service.

The book is 96 pages long and contains 264 illustrations, including as many as 49 colour profiles.
