This book is an invaluable source of knowledge about the history of aviation in Słupsk between 1912 and 1945. It covers topics such as the construction and operation of the military air station during the First World War, the development of sport and civil aviation in the interwar period, and the activities of Luftwaffe units stationed at Stolp-West and Stolp-Reitz airfields between 1936 and 1945.

Particularly noteworthy are the chapters devoted to the operation of Słupsk training centres for flying personnel (including FFS E Stolp-West, JFS 3, JG 103, I./KBVS 2), the actions of dive bombers over Pomerania in September 1939, and the operations of German transport and fighter aircraft in 1945.
