Henschel Hs 129

The Henschel Hs 129 was the only Luftwaffe aircraft designed from the ground up for the direct support role. The Hs 129 was produced in relatively small numbers. Despite heavy combat losses, the Hs 129 proved to be an excellent tank destroyer and remained in service until the end of World War II.
