This book is a study devoted to the history, design, and use of the low-wing aircraft of the RWD family, designed and built by the Experimental Aviation Workshops in Poland during the 1930s. Author Andrzej Glass introduces readers to the world of interwar aviation, presenting both the historical context and detailed information on each design.
The publication describes the most important models, such as the RWD-11, RWD-16 “Osa,” RWD-19, and RWD-21, as well as prototypes and experimental designs. Each chapter includes detailed technical data, drawings, photographs, and colour profiles that faithfully reflect the appearance and specifications of the aircraft.
The book is a valuable source of knowledge for aviation historians, modelers, and all enthusiasts of aviation. In addition to technical and historical descriptions, it provides production statistics and information about the role of RWD low-wing aircraft in Polish aviation.
The publication contains 60 historical photographs and 12 colour illustrations. A bibliography listing the sources used by the author is included at the end.
