This is the second book in the series devoted to the effects of weathering, created with one main audience in mind – military modelers. As is well known, the market offers many publications on weathering techniques for scale models – pre-shading, washes, pin washes, dry brushing, hairspray technique – each with its own name and method of application.

This series is different: it does not instruct the modeler on how to achieve a specific effect. Instead, it serves as a reference, presenting a wide variety of real military vehicles and their components in authentic service conditions. Each chapter focuses on a different aspect of weathering – from wheels and engines to extreme rust and glass surfaces – providing valuable guidance to help achieve a realistic look in scale models.
